File Ingest For Avid

Our file ingest product is able to rewrap all popular broadcast file formats which contain Avid compatible essence into fully Avid compliant OP-Atom format.It is also able to ingest audio only files and mp3 files (by decompressing them).The application is designed in a modular way, so the backend engine which actually performs the ingest operations can be used completely standalone and can be easily integrated into a MAM system and/or a workflow engine (or a custom in house application).We also provide a frontend with a web based gui for manual ingest operations, watchfolder processing and monitoring of the ingest operations.We also have plans to add full transcode functionality where practically any A/V material that can be played by VLC media player could be transcoded into a “house format” and ingested into Interplay.
